My Story
Our house is always filled with wonderful scents and aromas that remind me of the gatherings I experienced growing up in as a child in Ethiopia. It was there that I developed a passion for cooking richly flavored foods with garlic, onions, and a variety of spices. To balance out these kitchen scents and freshen up our home we would always light scented candles, creating an uplifting and well- balanced aura. After becoming a mother and raising my own children, I have strived to share with them the full richness of my culture from back home. Unfortunately, I quickly learned about the harsh chemicals in so many of the scented products available, including candles. That was when I learned and decided to make toxin-free, wonderfully scented candles on my own. What started as small hobby learning the candle making process has become a passion for me as I have invested countless hours learning to twist and shape beautiful, clean burning candles.
Now, I am excited to bring these clean and heavenly scented candles to market so that your family can experience the same warmth and comfort I have long cherished.
About Our Candles
We take great care in hand-pouring all our candles with love in small batches, ensuring they contain no harsh additives. Only the best goes into our candles.
At our company, we take pride in our candles which are crafted from 100% U.S. grown soy wax and are constructed using wicks that are free from lead and zinc. We go the extra mile by ensuring that the fragrance oil suppliers we work with comply with International Fragrance Association (IFRA) standards, and all our oils are free from Phthalates and Parabens, and contain less than 1% vanillin content. Plus, we don’t add any dyes to our candles, ensuring you can enjoy them in their purest form.
